Vita
Elke Zemelka (born 1960) spent the first ten years of her life in
Germany and India. She then lived in Mexico City for over eight years
before returning to the Stuttgart area, where she completed a graphic
design education at the Johannes-Gutenberg School. Beginning in 1982,
she spent the next decade back in Mexico City, working on graphic design
projects and participating in exhibitions there for the following twenty
years. Since 2015, Stuttgart has been her primary residence and the
focal point of her personal and professional life. In each of her homes,
her creative studio has consistently served as the space where she
pursues her artistic endeavors, seamlessly blending the worlds of "Art
and Life.
